Texas Stock Exchange Sets Opening Membership Fees

Published Date: 7/21/2026

Notice

Summary

The Texas Stock Exchange is rolling out its first-ever fee and rebate schedule for its members, plus a monthly membership fee. This means anyone trading on TXSE will see new costs and potential rebates starting as soon as the exchange opens. It’s all about setting clear rules and fees to keep things running smoothly from day one.

Analyzed Economic Effects

4 provisions identified: 0 benefits, 2 costs, 2 mixed.

Monthly Membership Fee of $200

The Exchange will charge a Monthly Membership Fee of $200 to each active Member, assessed on the first day of each month beginning January 1, 2027. The fee is not prorated; a Member pending voluntary termination and not using the Exchange while termination is pending will not be charged.

Displayed Liquidity Fee and Rebate

If you are a Member of the Texas Stock Exchange, displayed orders that remove liquidity will incur a fee of $0.0030 per share for securities priced at or above $1.00 (or 0.15% of total dollar value for securities under $1.00). Displayed orders that add liquidity will receive a rebate of $0.0031 per share under the same price thresholds. These fees and rebate apply to transactions in all trading sessions and are effective as of July 10, 2025.

No Volume-Based Tiers — Flat Pricing

The Exchange will not initially offer volume-based fee tiers or rebates; all fees and rebates are flat and apply to all Members regardless of how much they trade. That means the per-share fees and rebates described in the Fee Schedule apply equally to every Member starting July 10, 2025.

Non-Displayed Liquidity Fee

If you are a Member of the Texas Stock Exchange, executions of non-displayed orders that add or remove liquidity will incur a fee of $0.0002 per share for securities priced at or above $1.00 (or 0.05% of total dollar value for securities under $1.00). This fee applies to transactions in all trading sessions and takes effect on July 10, 2025.
