Summary

NYSE Texas is updating its fee schedule to let users connect to a new data feed called MX2 Options at their Mahwah data center. The Exchange made this change official on July 7, 2026, so users should be ready to connect and possibly adjust their budgets.

Analyzed Economic Effects

4 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 2 costs, 1 mixed.

New MX2 Options Connectivity Fee

The Exchange added connectivity to the MX2 Options data feed at the Mahwah data center and will charge a monthly recurring connectivity fee of $2,000 per third party data feed. This fee applies to Users who choose to receive connectivity to MX2 Options once the feed is live.

You Must Contract and Pay Data Vendor Separately

To receive MX2 Options data you must enter into a separate contract with the third-party content provider and may be charged by that provider for the data feed. The Exchange charges only for connectivity; you will still owe the third-party data fees in addition to the Exchange connectivity fee.

Connectivity Option Is Voluntary and Uniform

Connecting to MX2 Options via the Exchange is voluntary and the Connectivity Fee Schedule is applied uniformly to all Users; the Exchange says the change "would not apply differently to distinct types or sizes of market participants." You only get charged if you voluntarily select the Exchange's connectivity service.

Timing: Filed July 7; MX2 Live Sept 14, 2026

The Exchange filed the rule change on July 7, 2026, and the MX2 Options data feed is announced to go live on September 14, 2026; the Exchange expects the connectivity fee change to become operative soon after that live date. Users should be prepared for the connectivity option and related charges to be available shortly after September 14, 2026.
