Analyzed Economic Effects

4 provisions identified: 2 benefits, 1 costs, 1 mixed.

New $2,000/month MX2 Options Link

The Exchange will add MX2 Options to its list of third‑party data feeds and offer connectivity at the Mahwah, New Jersey data center for a monthly recurring connectivity fee of $2,000 per third‑party data feed. The connectivity option is voluntary and would be available to Users who enter into the required agreements.

You Can Bypass Exchange Using Telecoms

Users may instead obtain connectivity to MX2 Options independently through Telecoms or other vendors rather than using the Exchange's connectivity service. As of April 30, 2026, more than 98% of contracted circuits were supplied by Telecoms and 17 Telecoms operate in the meet‑me‑rooms.

Availability Starts After Sept. 14, 2026

The MX2 Options data feed is scheduled to be live on September 14, 2026, and the Exchange expects to make its connectivity to that feed operative soon thereafter. The Exchange will notify customers by a customer notice when the connectivity is available.

Feed Is Data‑Only; No Order Entry

The MX2 Options feed provided via the Exchange will be a data retransmission service only; it will not provide access or order entry to the Exchange's execution system or to any third party's execution system. The Exchange will act only as a redistributor and will not sell the data itself.
