Final Countervailing Duty Rates Set
If you import ripe olives from the named Spanish producers, Commerce set final countervailing duty rates for the period January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023: Agro Sevilla Aceitunas S.Coop.And at 4.80 percent ad valorem, and Angel Camacho Alimentación, S.L. and its cross-owned affiliates at 25.21 percent ad valorem. These rates were published as final on July 30, 2026.
Cash Deposit Requirement for Future Shipments
Beginning on the date of this notice (July 30, 2026), U.S. Customs and Border Protection will collect cash deposits of estimated countervailing duties on shipments of ripe olives from Spain entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after July 30, 2026. Deposits will be collected at the company-specific rates shown above for the listed companies, and for non-reviewed firms at the most recent company-specific rate or the all-others rate of 11.08 percent.
Timing of Duty Assessment and Liquidation Holds
Commerce will direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess countervailing duties on appropriate entries covered by this review and intends to issue assessment instructions no earlier than 35 days after publication (publication date July 30, 2026). If a timely summons is filed at the U.S. Court of International Trade, the instructions will tell CBP not to liquidate the relevant entries until the period for filing a request for a statutory injunction has expired (within 90 days of publication).
