CUPET Added to U.S. SDN List
On June 11, 2026, Union Cuba Petroleo (CUPET) was added to the U.S. Treasury Department’s Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List under Executive Order 14404. All property and interests in property of CUPET that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction are now blocked, and U.S. persons are prohibited from engaging in transactions with the designated entity.
