VIX Market‑Maker Fee Raised to $2,500

If you are a Market‑Maker trading permit holder with a VIX appointment and you execute at least 1,000 VIX contracts in a calendar month, Cboe proposes to increase the VIX Tier Appointment fee from $2,000 to $2,500 per month. The $2,500 charge would apply to both Market‑Maker Floor Permits and Market‑Maker Electronic Access Permits and is assessed per permit (or per TPH for EAP) when the 1,000‑contract threshold is met.

RUT Market‑Maker Fee Raised to $1,500

If you are a Market‑Maker trading permit holder with a RUT appointment and you execute at least 1,000 RUT contracts in a calendar month, Cboe proposes to increase the RUT Tier Appointment fee from $1,000 to $1,500 per month. The $1,500 charge would apply to both Market‑Maker Floor Permits and Market‑Maker Electronic Access Permits and is assessed per permit (or per TPH for EAP) when the 1,000‑contract threshold is met.
