You may not enter the water within a 350-yard radius of the Rockport Illuminations fireworks launch site (position 42°39.99' N, 070°37.25' W) in Rockport Harbor, MA from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on August 8, 2026. If weather delays the show, the zone will be enforced during those same hours on August 9, 2026. Boats and people are prohibited from entering the zone unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Boston.

How to Request Entry Permission

If you need to enter the safety zone during enforcement hours, you must get permission from the Captain of the Port (COTP) Boston or their designated representative. Contact them on VHF-FM channel 16 or call the Coast Guard Sector Boston Command Center at (857) 416-3015 and follow any lawful orders given.
