Review Likely Rescinded for Okechamp
Commerce preliminarily intends to rescind the antidumping duty administrative review for Okechamp B.V. because it found no bona fide sales during the review period, May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025. This preliminary action, effective August 6, 2026, means no new antidumping margins will be calculated for Okechamp unless the final decision changes.
Cash Deposit Rate Remains $0.44/kg
If Commerce proceeds to a final rescission, Okechamp's cash deposit rate will continue to be $0.44 per kilogram (net drained weight), the rate set in the previous administrative review. That deposit requirement will remain in effect until Commerce orders otherwise.
CBP Will Assess Duties at Deposit Rate
Upon completion of the review, Commerce will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess antidumping duties on entries covered by the review at a rate equal to the cash deposit required at the time of entry, in accordance with 19 CFR 351.212(c)(1)(i). Commerce intends to issue assessment instructions no earlier than 35 days after publication of the final results in the Federal Register.

On July 21, 2026, the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) issued its final judgment in Committee Overseeing Action for Lumber International Trade Investigations or Negotiations, et al. v. United States, et al., Consol. Court No. 19-00122 (Slip Op. 26-77) (CIT 2026) sustaining the U.S. Department of Commerce's (Commerce) final results of remand redetermination (remand redetermination), concerning the countervailing duty (CVD) order on certain softwood lumber products (softwood lumber) from Canada. In particular, the CIT sustained Commerce's remand redetermination calculating a 1.05 percent ad valorem subsidy rate for Les Produits Forestiers D&G Lt[eacute]e (D&G) and its cross-owned company Les Produits Forestiers Portbec Lt[eacute]e (Portbec). Because D&G/Portbec's rate is now above de minimis, subject merchandise produced and exported by D&G/Portbec is included within the CVD order on softwood lumber from Canada.
