Lease Reinstated Effective July 1, 2019
The Bureau of Land Management proposes to reinstate oil and gas lease WYW179793 effective July 1, 2019, and to extend the lease for two years from the date of reinstatement under 43 CFR 3108.23(d). If you are the leaseholder, this restores the lease rights starting July 1, 2019 and adds a two-year extension from reinstatement.
Increased Rental: $20 Per Acre
The reinstated lease is subject to an increased rental of $20 per acre or fraction thereof. If you hold the lease, you must pay rent at that $20/acre rate when the lease is in effect.
Higher Royalty Rate: 16.67%
The reinstated lease will carry a royalty rate of 16.67 percent. If you produce oil or gas from this lease, you will pay 16.67% of production value as royalty.
New Historic-Trail Protection Stipulation
The lease reinstatement is subject to an additional stipulation (WY CFO_CSU_BT3) to protect the Bozeman and Oregon historic trails in line with the approved Resource Management Plan. If you hold the lease, you must follow that new or amended stipulation when conducting activities on the lease.
Administrative Fee and Publication Reimbursement Paid
The lessee has paid the required administrative fee and reimbursed the Bureau of Land Management for the cost of publishing this Notice. This means the lessee incurred those documented one-time administrative costs as part of reinstatement.
