Summary
On May 1, 2026, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) initiated the fourth sunset reviews of the antidumping duty (AD) orders on carbazole violet pigment 23 (CVP-23) From India and the People's Republic of China (China). Because no domestic interested party responded to the sunset review notice of initiation by the applicable deadline, consistent with section 751(c)(3)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act), Commerce is revoking the AD orders on CVP- 23 from India and China.

Antidumping Orders Revoked for CVP-23
The Department of Commerce revoked the antidumping duty orders on carbazole violet pigment 23 (CVP-23) from India and the People’s Republic of China. The revocation was published August 7, 2026, after no domestic interested party responded to the May 1, 2026 sunset review initiation.
Suspension of Liquidation Ends for New Entries
Commerce will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to terminate the suspension of liquidation for CVP-23 imports entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, on or after June 15, 2026. That means imports of CVP-23 from India and China with entry dates on or after June 15, 2026 will no longer be subject to the prior suspension of liquidation.
Earlier Entries Still Subject to Duties and Reviews
Entries of CVP-23 made before the effective date of revocation will continue to be subject to suspension of liquidation and antidumping duty deposit requirements. Commerce may still conduct administrative reviews of subject merchandise entered prior to the effective date of revocation if appropriately requested.
