Initiation of CVD Investigations
The Department of Commerce has officially started countervailing duty (CVD) investigations into welded stainless line and pressure pipe from India and the Republic of Türkiye, applicable August 4, 2026. Commerce will examine imports for the period January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, and will make preliminary CVD determinations no later than 65 days after this initiation.

India Q&V Questionnaire Deadline
For the India investigation, Commerce will issue quantity & value (Q&V) questionnaires to selected Indian producers/exporters and set a response deadline of 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on August 18, 2026. Producers/exporters who do not receive a questionnaire may still submit a response and can obtain the Q&V questionnaire from Commerce's website.
Opportunity to Comment on Scope (Deadlines)
Interested parties may submit public scope comments (with a 450-word executive summary per issue) by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on August 24, 2026, and any rebuttal comments by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 3, 2026.
