Shorter Wait to Retake Securities Exams

If you are trying to become registered to work in the securities industry, the Exchange shortens the waiting times to retake FINRA qualification exams. The new rule aligns with FINRA: you can retake after 15 days following a first or second failed attempt, and after 60 days following a third or later failed attempt within a two-year period (previously 30 days and 180 days, respectively).

Harmonizes MIAX Pearl and FINRA Rules

The Exchange aligns its retake waiting periods with FINRA so members who belong to both FINRA and MIAX Pearl face the same qualification exam retake rules. This reduces the chance that dual members would have to follow different waiting periods for the same exams.
