Tier 1 ETFs: New Tue/Thu Expirations

If you trade options on very large ETFs, Nasdaq ISE may now list up to two Tuesday and two Thursday short-term expirations beyond the current week for Exchange-Traded Fund Shares that meet the existing Qualifying Securities Criteria. To qualify as a Tier 1 ETF it must have AUM greater than $50 billion (based on NAV on the last day of the prior quarter), monthly options volume greater than 10 million (sides), a position limit of at least 250,000 contracts, and participate in the Penny Interval Program.

Tier 2 ETFs: New Mon/Wed Expirations

Nasdaq ISE can now list up to two Monday and two Wednesday short-term expirations beyond the current week for Exchange-Traded Fund Shares that meet new Tier 2 criteria. To qualify as a Tier 2 ETF it must have AUM greater than $25 billion (based on NAV on the last day of the prior quarter), monthly options volume greater than 5 million (sides), a position limit of at least 250,000 contracts, and participate in the Penny Interval Program.
