One-Year Extension of Export Controls
The President continued the national emergency for export control regulations first declared on August 17, 2001, and extended it for 1 year beyond August 17, 2026 (i.e., through August 17, 2027). This keeps in place authorities to implement certain export sanctions, including sections 11A, 11B, and 11C of the Export Administration Act of 1979, to be carried out under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
