USITC: Domestic Industry Injured by Silicon Imports

On August 14, 2026 the U.S. International Trade Commission determined that a U.S. industry is materially injured by imports of silicon metal from Australia and Norway (HTS subheadings 2804.69.10 and 2804.69.50). The Commission based its decision on Commerce findings that those imports were sold in the United States at less than fair value and were subsidized.
