Virtual public meeting—access requires notice
A virtual meeting of the Northern New Mexico Environmental Management Site-Specific Advisory Board is set for September 23, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. MDT. To get the virtual access information you must contact the NNMCAB Executive Director at least two days before the meeting.
Oral and written public comment rules
The meeting is open to public comment: 15 minutes are allocated total, with a minimum of two minutes per person for oral remarks. Written comments received at least two working days before the meeting will be given to members and included in the minutes; written comments received within two working days after the meeting will also be included in the minutes.
Disability accommodations must be requested early
If you require special accommodations due to a disability to attend the meeting, you must contact the NNMCAB Executive Director at least seven days before the meeting. The board will make every effort to accommodate persons with physical disabilities or special needs.
Board can advise on cleanup and budgets
The Board may provide community-based advice and recommendations about Environmental Management activities, including clean-up and environmental restoration; waste management and disposition; future land use and long-term stewardship; communications; and budget priorities. This gives local community members a formal channel to influence those program areas.

In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is establishing a new system of records to be maintained by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), titled "Nurses for Nursing Homes Program (NNHP)," system No. 09-70-0545. The new system of records will cover the collection of records on individuals who apply for, participate in, or otherwise support the Nurses for Nursing Homes Program (NNHP). Records maintained in the system will include personally identifiable information (PII), including demographic, professional licensure and credential information, education and training information, employment and nursing facility affiliation, payment information, tax reporting, audit records, and other records necessary to administer the program. CMS will use these records to support the administration of a nursing workforce incentive program designed to strengthen the workforce serving Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing homes with a focus on underserved and rural communities. The scope of the new system of records will be commensurate with its purpose of supporting the Nursing Home Staffing Campaign/Nursing Incentive Program (NHSC/NIP).
