Lake Worth drawdown for shoreline work
Georgia Power plans to lower Lake Worth about 5.0 feet from the normal lower target elevation of 181.3 feet to 176.3 feet starting September 21, 2026. The drawdown will proceed at one half-foot per day, reach the target on September 30, 2026, and remain for four weeks until refilling begins November 1, 2026 to allow installation and maintenance of shoreline structures.
