Texas Exchange Expands Rodeo Rewards to ETF Cowboys

Published Date: 8/27/2026

Notice

Summary

The Texas Stock Exchange is updating its Rodeo Program to include exchange-traded products (ETPs) as part of its Liquidity Improvement and High-Volume Symbols. This change means more types of securities can earn performance incentives, encouraging better trading activity. The update took effect right after filing on August 14, 2026, and could boost trading rewards for market participants.

Analyzed Economic Effects

3 provisions identified: 3 benefits, 0 costs, 0 mixed.

Participants Can Earn ETP Multiplier Credit

Members participating in the Rodeo Program can now receive multiplier credit for qualifying ETP transactions in the same manner as eligible corporate securities, which may increase their Multiplier Adjusted Volume rankings and affect exercise prices of warrants. The Rodeo Program uses several multipliers (Intraspread 2x, Auction 10x, Add Displayed 1.2x, ELS 2x) to calculate Multiplier Adjusted Volume during each three-month Measurement Period.

Warrant Vesting Schedule and Ticket Terms

Participants in the Rodeo Program hold tickets redeemable for warrants representing 100,000 shares of TXSE Group stock, with vesting tied to four Measurement Periods: 9/1/2026–11/30/2026 (target 0.025% TCV → 10,000 shares), 12/1/2026–2/26/2027 (0.05% TCV → 20,000), 3/1/2027–5/31/2027 (0.075% TCV → 30,000), and 6/1/2027–8/31/2027 (0.125% TCV → 40,000). Participants that meet Target Performance may fully vest and those achieving at least 50% of Target Performance may be eligible for partial vesting.

ETPs Added to Liquidity Incentives

The Exchange now counts exchange-traded products (ETPs) as Liquidity Improvement Symbols and High-Volume Symbols, so qualifying ETP trades receive the Enhanced Liquidity Symbol (ELS) multiplier (2x) for the Rodeo Program. This change took effect upon filing on August 14, 2026 and applies during the Rodeo Period that runs September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027, potentially improving spreads and execution quality for investors trading ETPs on TXSE.
