The Commissioners of the National Commission on the Future of the Navy (NCFN), in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act of 2023, will hold a public hearing in Monterey, California to better understand how the Navy and private industry collaborate to secure America's future maritime seapower. The Commission will hear from a senior military commander, leaders from the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) and Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), and private sector leaders in the private equity and venture capital industries.
