Analyzed Economic Effects

Monthly SAIL Order Entry Port Fees

The Exchange charges SAIL Order Entry Port fees of $540 per month for each of the first five ports (ports 1–5) and $162 per month for each additional SAIL Order Entry Port. These are recurring monthly fees assessed for each month a Participant is credentialed to use a SAIL Port in the production environment.

200‑Port Limit for SAIL Order Entry

If you are a BOX Participant, the Exchange proposes to limit you to no more than 200 SAIL Order Entry Ports per month. If you hit the 200‑port limit, you may be credentialed for additional FIX Ports for order entry; the Exchange says there are generally no current limits on FIX Ports and will announce by Notice when it will implement the 200‑port limit.

Clarifies Two SAIL Port Types

The Exchange adds language clarifying that it currently offers two types of SAIL Ports: Order Entry Ports and Market Making Ports. The filing explains Market Making Ports enable continuous quoting while Order Entry Ports allow Market Makers and other Participants to submit order flow.
