MEMX adopts Volume Tier 1 effective September 1, 2026: Members that achieve an ADAV (average daily added volume) in the Customer capacity, across Penny and Non‑Penny equity and ETF options, equal to or greater than 1.2% of the equity and ETF option TCV in a month will receive an enhanced rebate of $0.53 per contract for all Added Customer Penny Volume that month. ADAV is calculated monthly and Members that qualify in a given month receive the $0.53 rebate for that month.

Higher rebate for Customer Non‑Penny adds

If you are a MEMX Member trading Non‑Penny options in the Customer capacity that add liquidity, the rebate increases from $1.17 per contract to $1.19 per contract starting September 1, 2026. This change gives Members who add Customer Non‑Penny liquidity a slightly larger rebate on each contract.

Lower Market‑Maker penny rebate

If you are a MEMX Market Maker adding liquidity in Penny options, the rebate drops from $0.45 per contract to $0.43 per contract effective September 1, 2026. Market Makers will receive $0.02 less per Penny‑option contract that adds liquidity.

Reduced Market‑Maker non‑penny rebate

If you are a MEMX Market Maker adding liquidity in Non‑Penny options, the rebate falls from $0.80 per contract to $0.75 per contract starting September 1, 2026. Market Makers will get $0.05 less per Non‑Penny contract that adds liquidity.

Slight fee hike for removing liquidity

If you are a MEMX Member executing Non‑Penny options that remove liquidity in the Market Maker, Professional, Firm, Away Market Maker, or Broker‑Dealer capacities, the fee increases from $1.21 per contract to $1.22 per contract on September 1, 2026. This raises the cost to remove liquidity by $0.01 per contract for those capacities.

Lower rebate for non‑Customer Non‑Penny adds

If you are a MEMX Member executing Non‑Penny options that add liquidity in the Professional, Firm, Away Market Maker, or Broker‑Dealer capacities, the rebate decreases from $0.72 per contract to $0.70 per contract beginning September 1, 2026. Members in these capacities receive $0.02 less per contract for Non‑Penny add‑liquidity executions.
