Summary

Temporary fireworks safety zone
On September 19, 2026, from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., all vessels and persons are prohibited from entering the navigable waters of Lake St. Clair within a 560-foot radius of the fireworks barge at coordinates 42°23'12.26" N, 82°53'36.33" W unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Detroit. If you need to enter the zone, you must contact the Captain of the Port or their designated representative on VHF-FM channel 16 and follow lawful orders.
