Federal deletions remove listed procurements

If you are a nonprofit that employed persons who are blind or have other severe disabilities, the Committee deleted certain products and services from the Federal Procurement List effective October 17, 2026. Deleted items include NSN 2540-01-329-8073 (Parts Kit, Humvee soft top), NSN 4910-01-211-2195 (Plastic oil drip pan, 3.5 gallons), scrubbers NSNs 7920-01-620-3634 and 7920-01-620-4373, several handle and strap NSNs, and services such as laundry services at USDA NCAH Ames, linen rental at the CSOSA Reentry & Sanctions Center, and telephone switchboard operations at the VA Erie Medical Center.

Opportunity for other small suppliers

The Committee certified that this action may authorize other small entities to furnish the deleted products and services to the Government, and that it will not have a significant impact on a substantial number of small entities. That change could allow other small businesses to bid or supply the listed NSNs and services after October 17, 2026.
