Temporary boating exclusion for air show
On November 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., a safety zone will close about one square mile of the Neuse River next to Union Point Park to all people and vessels unless specifically authorized. To enter you must get permission from the Captain of the Port (COTP) or the COTP's designated representative via VHF-FM channel 16 or by telephone at (833) 732-8628. The safety zone is defined by coordinates beginning at latitude 35°07'03.55'' N, longitude 77°02'04.73'' W and covering approximately a 1 mile square area.
