Published Date: 10/9/2026

Notice

Summary

MEMX is updating its fee schedule to change the rules for a special discount called Tape B Volume Tier 2. This affects members who trade a lot on the exchange and could change how much they pay in fees. The new rules kick in right away, so members should check how this might impact their costs now.

Analyzed Economic Effects

2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 0 costs, 1 mixed.

Lowered Volume Threshold for Tape B Rebate

MEMX lowered the qualification threshold for its Tape B Volume Tier 2 from a Tape B ADAV equal to or greater than 0.25% of Tape B TCV (excluding Retail Orders) to 0.20% of Tape B TCV (excluding Retail Orders). If you qualify, you continue to receive an additive rebate of $0.0002 per share for executions of Added Displayed Volume (in Tape B securities priced over $1.00, excluding Retail Orders) on top of the base rebate (currently $0.0015 per share).

Change Took Effect Immediately Upon Filing

The Exchange implemented the Fee Schedule change immediately upon filing on September 30, 2026. The SEC may, however, temporarily suspend the rule change at any time within 60 days of filing (starting from the filing date) and institute proceedings to determine whether to approve or disapprove it.
