Stops presidential cuts to beef tariffs

If enacted, the bill would cancel Presidential Proclamation 11059 of August 26, 2026, titled "Further Ensuring Affordable Beef for the American consumer" (91 Fed. Reg. 55989). The bill would say that proclamation has no force or effect and that no Federal funds may be obligated or expended to carry it out. The bill would also stop the President and federal officials from waiving, suspending, or reducing any tariff, duty, or other fee on beef or beef products imported into the United States unless Congress enacts that change into law or a state of emergency is declared for the domestic beef supply. If passed, this would protect U.S. beef producers from executive tariff relief and limit agency actions, while importers and some consumers could face restricted relief or higher prices.
