Technical help for rural health facilities

This bill would create a USDA program to give technical help and training to rural health facilities. USDA would run it directly or through grants, contracts, or agreements. Help would cover building or renovation, telehealth, electronic records, financial planning, and applying for USDA loans and grants. Hospitals, clinics, home health agencies, community health centers, and other rural facilities could take part. USDA would prioritize facilities that already borrow from or got grants from Rural Housing, Rural Business-Cooperative, or Rural Utilities programs. Congress could fund up to $2 million each year for 2026–2030, and USDA would report to Congress within 1 year and then yearly.
