Summary

Precision agriculture satellite connectivity. This bill would require the Federal Communications Commission to review its rules for fixed satellite service, mobile satellite service, and earth exploration satellite service to identify changes it can make under existing authority to support precision farming. If the FCC finds changes it can implement, it must develop recommendations and submit a report to the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee within 15 months.
