Summary
Creates private, accessible lactation rooms at VA medical centers so women can express breast milk. The bill would add a new section to title 38 requiring each VA medical center to provide a hygienic, non-bathroom space that is shielded from view, accessible to people with disabilities including wheelchair users, and equipped with a chair and a work surface. The room must be easy to find, clearly signed, and available to women veterans and members of the public. The Secretary would have two years to implement the requirement. It does not change who may enter VA facilities.
