Summary
No revolving-door lobbying on foreign military sales. This bill would bar former State Department and Department of Defense employees who worked on foreign military sales under the Arms Export Control Act in the three years before leaving from communicating with or appearing before federal officials or Congress to influence those sales. It adds a new prohibition to 18 U.S.C. §207(f) and makes violations punishable under 18 U.S.C. §216.

Limits on ex-officials foreign arms lobbying
This bill would add a new post-employment rule for former State and Defense Department staff. If they worked on foreign military sales in the 3 years before leaving, they would be barred from trying to influence those sales.
