In Committee
Summary
Would extend a federal ban on feeding sharks to the U.S. exclusive economic zone off Florida. It would amend Section 317 of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act by changing "the State" to "the States" and inserting "and Florida" after Hawaii, thereby broadening the geographic scope of the existing prohibition on feeding sharks in the EEZ.
