Alaska Native Vietnam Era Veterans Land Allotment Extension Act of 2025
Sponsored By: Representative Begich, Nicholas J. [R-AK-At Large]
Became Law
Summary
Extends the Alaska Native Vietnam Era Veterans Land Allotment Program period from five years to ten years. This law replaces the phrase "5-year period" with "10-year period" in the existing statute that governs the program. It does not change eligibility rules, add funding, create new programs, or add reporting or enforcement requirements. The only operative effect is a longer application window within the same legal framework.
