Summary
This bill would authorize transfers of Orland Project water to the Sacramento Canal Unit of the Central Valley Project at any time when requested by the Orland Unit Water Users Association and when the Secretary finds the transfer consistent with the Central Valley Project's purposes. The change preserves existing water rights, does not create a new Reclamation Reform Act benefit, does not affect pending water-right applications, and prohibits redirected impacts to the Orland Project from temporary water-supply contracts.

Easier water transfers for Sacramento Canal farms
