Northern border reports and patrol metrics
This bill would require DHS to file a Northern Border Threat Analysis by September 2, 2026, then every two years. Within 30 days after each report, DHS would give Congress a classified briefing. Within 90 days after each report, DHS would update its northern border strategy or explain why no update is needed. It would also require air and sea patrol performance measures within six months of enactment. These measures would judge patrols between ports of entry along the northern border.
