Credit for employers hiring SSDI recipients
This bill would let employers claim a Work Opportunity Tax Credit for hiring people who receive Social Security Disability Insurance. A designated local agency would have to certify the worker was entitled to SSDI. The certification must cover any month ending within the 60-day period ending on the hiring date.
