More CAPTA funds for Tribes and migrants

This bill would change how Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) money is split. It would add "Indian Tribes, and Tribal organizations" to CAPTA's list of geographic recipients. It would replace references to "section 210" with "section 209" as the appropriation source. Of the money appropriated under section 209 each year, 5 percent would be allotted to Indian Tribes and Tribal organizations and 1 percent would be allotted to migrant programs. The rest of the section 209 money would continue to follow the existing distribution unless changed elsewhere.
