More funding for early intervention

If enacted, this bill would authorize federal grants for Part C early intervention from fiscal year 2027 through fiscal year 2031. It would provide $932 million for FY2027; $974.8 million for FY2028; $1.2274 billion for FY2029; $1.48 billion for FY2030; and $1.722 billion for FY2031. State and local agencies and providers that deliver early intervention services to infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families would receive these funds. More preschool special education funding

If enacted, this bill would authorize federal grants for Section 619 preschool special education from fiscal year 2027 through fiscal year 2031. It would provide $503 million for FY2027; $683.5 million for FY2028; $829.7 million for FY2029; $1.0089 billion for FY2030; and $1.22 billion for FY2031. State and local education agencies and providers that serve children ages 3 to 5 with disabilities and their families would receive these funds. The bill sets these annual funding amounts and does not change eligibility rules.
