Summary
Takes three San Diego County parcels into trust for the Barona Group of Capitan Grande Band of Mission Indians. This bill would add about 160 acres, 160 acres, and 516.2 acres to the Barona Reservation and have them managed under federal Indian trust rules. The Interior Secretary would take administrative jurisdiction over two parcels. Transfers land into tribal trust

Existing liens, rights-of-way, leases, permits, and easements on the date of enactment would remain, and public access for recreation, scenic, scientific, conservation, motorized road use, and existing trails would be preserved subject to reasonable tribal rules. The bill would prohibit Class II and Class III gaming on the covered land, would not change existing water rights or service agreements, and would let the Secretary, in consultation with the Secretary of Agriculture, establish rights-of-way needed for BLM and Forest Service emergency access.
