Sponsored By: Representative Raskin, Jamie [D-MD-8]
In Committee
Summary
Authorizes and fixes the location of a Thomas Paine commemorative work in Area I of Washington, D.C. The Common Sense 250 Act of 2026 waives the Commemorative Works Act's usual location limits and ties the memorial's placement to the "Commemorative Areas Washington, DC and Environs" map, number 869/86501 B, dated June 24, 2003. Section 1 sets the act's short title.
