Deploy Airborne Collision Avoidance System‑X across military aircraft. This bill would direct the Secretary of Defense to deliver, within 180 days, an action plan to advance ACAS‑X and its variants for military use. The plan must cover a strategic roadmap for adoption, the actions and funding needed for research, development, testing, evaluation, and standards for certification, interoperability with ADS‑B In and ADS‑B Out (including rotorcraft), an assessment of safety benefits for operators, and any recommended administrative or legislative steps. The Secretary may take actions to implement the plan and must brief the House and Senate Armed Services Committees within 30 days after the plan is submitted.
