Move unused ICE money to Title I
If enacted, any unobligated funds appropriated to ICE under sections 102 and 202 of the Secure America Act (Public Law 119-98) would be transferred to the Department of Education. The transferred money would have to be used to carry out programs under Part A of Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. This change would take effect on enactment. The bill only applies to unobligated funds and does not specify dollar amounts.
Forced sale of 11 detention warehouses
If enacted, the Secretary of Homeland Security would have to sell each "covered immigration detention warehouse" within 60 days after enactment. "Covered" means the 11 facilities the Secretary purchased for immigration detention between January 1, 2026 and March 31, 2026. The bill does not set sale prices or other transactional terms.
