Career and Technical Education (CTE) would be celebrated nationwide through a resolution that designates February as Career and Technical Education Month and endorses the goals and ideals of CTE. It would recognize CTE’s role in preparing a well-educated, skilled workforce, cite surveys showing 91 percent of parents and voters favor expanded workforce training and 93 percent of employers recruiting from CTE find those programs beneficial, reference the 2018 Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, and encourage educators, school counselors, career development professionals, administrators, and parents to promote CTE as a respected pathway for students.
