This bill would designate March 21, 2026 as National Women in Agriculture Day and formally recognize women as producers, educators, leaders, and mentors across agriculture. It encourages citizens to celebrate and empower women to enter and lead in this high-demand field and cites more than 1.2 million female agricultural producers and that women-operated farms sold $222 billion in 2022, about 41 percent of U.S. agricultural sales.
