Sponsored By: Representative Graves, Sam [R-MO-6]
Introduced
Summary
Honoring elementary and secondary school teachers. This bill would designate May 4-8, 2026 as National Teacher Appreciation Week and ask students, parents, school administrators, and public officials to recognize that observance. It would raise public awareness of teachers' unquantifiable contributions. It would promote greater respect and understanding for the teaching profession and thank educators for their dedication to students and communities.
