Recognizing, from Chicago to Palestine to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Puerto Rico, that the pain, violence, and oppression the global majority experiences are interconnected, acknowledges that the future must be self-determined, and affirms our humanity and dignity through a renewed mandate for human rights.

• Families and migrants would see major immigration changes. The resolution would call to end deportations, detention, and border militarization, create a humane pathway to citizenship and affirm the right to return, and reinstate non-discriminatory temporary protected status and work permits.
• Workers and economic justice advocates would get a pro-labor, anti-wealth-concentration agenda. It would push for living wages, stronger collective bargaining and pensions, and higher taxes on corporate billionaires while urging money be redirected from militarism toward social benefits; the text cites $21.0 trillion spent on wars and homeland security since 2001 as context.
• Communities would be pushed toward universal health care and housing justice. The resolution would pursue free universal health care without documentation barriers, protect reproductive and gender-affirming care, and address a global housing crisis that it links to 2.8 billion people lacking adequate housing and 318 million homeless.
