Honoring the Artemis II crew and celebrating humanity’s return to the Moon. This resolution would recognize Pilot Victor Glover, Commander Reid Wiseman, NASA Mission Specialist Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen for launching from Kennedy Space Center on April 1, 2026 aboard a Space Launch System rocket, completing a 10-day lunar flyby that traveled 252,756 miles and splashed down off San Diego on April 10, 2026. It would support declaring a National Artemis II Mission Day and congratulate the crew for reopening the door to lunar surface landings after more than 50 years.
