Create Greenwood National Monument in Tulsa

If enacted, this would create the Historic Greenwood District—Black Wall Street National Monument once enough land is acquired. The Secretary would publish a notice within 30 days after that decision. The boundary would follow the official map dated August 2024, available for public inspection. Within three years after funds first become available, the Secretary would prepare a management plan in consultation with the Advisory Commission.

Partnerships to run monument programs

If enacted, the Interior Department could partner with public or private groups to offer tours, talks, and education. Agreements could support visitor services inside or outside the monument and mark important sites.
