Federal immersive technology advisory panel
If enacted, the Secretary of Commerce would name a principal advisor on immersive technology after consulting two congressional committees. The Secretary would also set up an Immersive Technology Advisory Panel within 180 days with top agency officials and 6–10 outside experts. The panel must meet at least once every four months and finish a study within two years on industry, workforce, security, privacy, and standards. The Secretary would send the report to Congress within 90 days after the study and publish it online.
