Board rules for large aviation firms
This bill would target entities with FAA delegations under 49 U.S.C. 44702(d) that have at least $15 billion in annual revenue. If enacted, those companies would have to certify each year that their board includes two labor‑organization representatives (including one from each union that represents employees directly involved in aircraft design and manufacturing) and two representatives with proven aerospace safety experience. If an affected company did not meet these board rules, the FAA Administrator would have to rescind that company's 44702(d) delegation, with rescissions required not later than 90 days after enactment.
