More car adaptations covered for veterans

If enacted, this would add medically necessary automobile adaptations to VA "medical services." The list includes ramp and kneeling systems; raised doors or lowered floors; raised roofs; air conditioning; occupied and unoccupied mobility lifts; ingress or egress accessibility modifications; wheelchair tiedowns; and adapted seating. This would apply to veterans and other people who are eligible for VA medical services and would take effect upon enactment.

Veterans pension payment date extended

If enacted, this would amend the date in current law from "November 30, 2031" to "September 30, 2032." The change would extend the statutory date that limits certain VA pension payments. It would take effect upon enactment and primarily affects recipients of the listed VA pension payment.
